Model: Tapo C200  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.16

Tapo C200 keep switching night vision on and off at night. It can start night vision correctly, but after sometime it will switch the night mode mode then on then off many times, then some time will remain on for quite sometime and repeat that on and off again.

 

This problem is just happening, used to work fine for many month before this.

  @Solla-topee thank you for your response, I noticed that the camera have moved backward from the table and the table show up as a white area in the video at night, so I moved the camera back to the edge of the table to get rid of that white area, after that the issue never happen again for many night!

Thank you for your valuable feedback. 

  • Please go to App> Playback and manually record a video when issue happen ( switch between Day/ Night Mode ) was there any change of light in the room
  • Do you use tp-link original power cord for camera or use extension cables? 

Can you share the video link (you may use google drive) & Mac address of camera by private message, thank you.
