I just got the kasa app but cant add a camera because when trying to 'agree to terms of service' it says operation failed, please try again later. Not a good sign that cant even BEGIN to add a camera. May be returning all cameras purchased and deleting app. I see lots pf people having all sorts of problems with this product.

  Hello @LesElliot 

Thank you for the feedback, for this error, please check if camera is on the correct time zone. 

  • Open Kasa app ->tap' 3 lines' in the top left ->Settings -> Location and Time -> Time Zone.

How to Adjust Time Setting in the Kasa APP

  • Turn off VPN or security apps on the phone 
  • In phone Settings, enable ' Location' permission

For IOS, enable ' local network' permission for kasa app as well. 

 

If still the same, can I know the model of phone and its Android or IOS version, and a photo of error, thank you.
