I saw antother thread with the same issue, unable to connect to the wi-fi.  He had a 2nd switch that he was able to attach fine.

 

Still can't find Tp-Link.

 

I have 2 g & 5 g connections. 

 

I have rebooted my router twice and reset the switch several times. Should I order another switch? 

 

Please advise.

Sorry for the late reply. may I know were you able to setup the dimmer switch at last? 

Please first confirm the kasa 3 way dimmer can be switched on and off manually.

After that, if the kasa switch failed to connect to Wi-Fi network, it's a good step to verify password and confirm correct Wi-Fi password was given in during setup.

Have you succeeded? Well, no, my KS230 KIT V2 (3-way kasa) cannot be turned on and off manually and the WIFI light remains red.
