Hi All,

 

trying to add my 3 Tapo c310 V1 into milestone xprotect 2022r2 express+ installation.

 

the camera is detected Onivf but no video is received or displayed in the xprotect management program.

 

i can confirm the camera did work on xprotect 2018r2 with firmware 1.0.14 Build 210118 Rel.58915n(4555)

 

whats gone wrong here? any advice appreciated 

 

i will also add i have a 2 c200's on firmware  1.1.18 build 220518 Rel.61472n(4555) that do work fine on both milestone xprotect 2018 and 2022

 

and 1 c100 the does work on 2018r2 but not on 2022r2

Thank you for the feedback

  • Make sure you only use one RTSP/ONVIF software at a time, uninstall or turn that off if you have used multiple software to stream the camera. 

 

If the ONVIF does not work in your surveillance software, can I know

1) which third party software you are currently & version: Milestone Xprotect 2022r2 express

2) May I know the URL did you use to stream the camera

3) a photo  showing no video is received or displayed

4) Mac address your tapo camera (share Mac by private message)

May I know, did you see any Error message in the surveillance software log , if you use Wireshark, you could also check if there is any error in the package. 

At the same time it is recommended to reach the surveillance software support side and see if they have any suggestions.

Thanks for looking into this.

 

there is only one peice of software being used to stream from the camera the curent version is milestone xprotect express+ 2022r2 

 

milestone interfaces with the camera using ONVIF using port 2020 with my account set on the camera

 

the software can descover the camera corectly (tp-link c310) and set it up. however once set up no video is recived from the camera, in the camera preview it just says NO VIDEO, the milestone logs say hardware comunnication error. i have 4 other Hikvision ONVIF cameras and 2 tapo c200 and i can confirm they work on milestone xprotect 2022r2. it is just the 3 Tapo c310's and the 1 c100 that have issues

 

i will send you the MAC of my 3 tapo c310 via PM

Thank you for providing more case details.

You could also try a factory reset on one of the cameras and try to live stream the camera again and see if that makes any difference.

Can you share the URL to access the camera, the error message and the photo showing no video as well, thanks. 

It is also recommended to reach the surveillance support and see if they have any suggestion for the error message in the log.
