Model: HS200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

The switch was working for the last 10 months. It became disconnected from the network and flashes orange and green. The light it's attached to wont turn off. Every few seconds the device clicks, the light goes out and back on. I reset and tried to reconnect it. The app finds the switch but wont let it connect to the network. In the morning I will open it and check all the connections. Just looking to see if anyone else experienced this and that it's just a bad switch.

Pulled it apart, everything looks good, The ground was a little loose, cleaned it and tightened it but, nothing changed. The App finds the switch but, the switch can't connect to the network.

Hello  @More-or-Les

Thank you for reaching out to the community and sharing the case details with us.

It's a good step to double-check the wiring of the HS200, double check if the neutral is properly connected

Video of wiring : https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/hs200

Can you perform a factory reset on the switch , before connect it back to the Wi-Fi, will the switch stops this behavior.

If the switch keep clicking in factory state (flashing orange and green after the factory reset) , it could be a faulty unit. You could contact retailer or local support to check device warranty.
