Hey everyone! Does anyone know of any smart plug brands that offer a lock or confirmation feature in their app?

I’ve spent ages searching and was really surprised to find that NO brands seem to include this functionality in their apps. Given that, it makes sense that Tapo doesn’t have it either, apparently nobody’s doing this feature. A few brands offer physical button locks, but that’s not the same as an app-controlled lock, so accidental presses can still happen.

Yes, we definitely need a "lock power status" feature that prevents remote power changes (it still leaves the power on via the physical button).
Also because, with all the connected devices, Alexa/Google/Siri might turn it off simply because they misinterpreted the request.

This is a pretty simple request, Just add a button to disable the power button on the Devices screen.  Maybe even a warning when you toggle it could be helpful. Just need something to help prevent accidental power off.

Maybe even when set to always on it disable the use of the power buttons. Or even an energy monitoring mode only without the on/off features.

Need an update on this issue

@Tapo, How difficult could it be to implement this simple feature?
