Block possibility of accidentally powering the Tapo plug off
Hello,
I am using Tapo mostly for energy monitoring.
Big button for turning the smart plug on and off in Tapo app in my case does no good, cause it allows me to accidentally turn my whole circuit off.
Therefore, I am suggesting a functionality that'll allow to block current plug state (on or off) in the settings or provide an option to turn on additional warning before powering off the plug.

Refrigerator -> Only power usage logs, never off
The oldest message in this thread is from January 2023. How many requests and explanations are needed to make it clear that it will be a great feature?

This would be a very good feature.
Just bought 4 x P110M primarily for power monitoring, but I have a couple hooked up to PC's that run 24x7 for work purposes and turning those off accidentally will cause me problems. I already did that after hooking one up as I went to go into the plug settings but accidentally switched it off.
A minimal solution would be to have a "confirmation required" option that can be enabled for devices, and if you try to power it from the app provide a "are you sure" and after a couple of seconds give you the option to proceed or cancel.
Ideally, there would be a 'lock' option so that the app power button is greyed out unless you 1st unlock that device. When the device is locked it could block powering off from other applications as well.
As it is I think I need to use another solution for my critical devices, I don't want to risk me accidentally turning these off, or the bigger risk of someone else in the family as I have others for lamps etc.
I had also considered getting a couple of these to monitor Freezers, not only to see power but also so I could generate an alert when its drawing too much power due to someone leaving the freezer open - but I think I'll have an even bigger risk of someone actually turning the freezer off rather than just leaving the door open again...
