In the actual version, we can enable up to 5 privacy zones on a camera to mask part of image. But, these zones can only be a square/rectangle.
Could be very great to allow any polygon, so the zone are smooth and more accurate. Rough example with one of my camera below.
Now (4 differents rectangle zone to cover neighboor's garden) :
Expected (only one zone with a big polygon) :

Been 1.5 year now and this has not been added. It a no-brainer for me. Why restrict the privacy/mask zone to only squares/rectanglurar shapes, while the detection zone are polygon shapes? I also have similar like OP in this case and it would just be a lot better to be able to create the zone that actully lines up with how my camera is viewing. Voting for this.
This should be implemented in all cameras.
