VIGI and Tapo are two ecosystems, compared to Tapo security cameras for home usage, VIGI is a more professional line for the surveillance and video recording into hardware with a TP-Link NVR. (to business level) Two apps VIGI and Tapo Apps are designed for these two kinds of cameras.
While the good news is that Tapo cameras support ONVIF and RTSP protocol, this means the Tapo wireless camera can work with VIGI NVR, and below is the setup process.
