Hello everyone,
Latest app allows the Live View, Talk, Voice Call, Pan& Tilt, and Playback&Memory features enabled for shared accounts. As most of these function was not enabled in previous app versions, I know users that are annoyed by this change without any notification. In some cases the administrators don't absolutely want allow the shared accounts to pan/tilt the camera. This is a major issue for tlt/pan cameras already mounted that should stay in a fixed position for security/privacy reasons. For this reason I suggest additional settings in app that allows to select what function is granted/denied to shared accounts.

Over 18 months and nothing? This is vital and if I had discovered this lack before installing I would be retuning my doorbell and two cameras. The quickest fix would be to allow two options: sharing full admin privileges or sharing limited privileges. Full admin would allow a spouse to view cloud baby-monitor recordings, rotate a camera, etc. This issue is the important one for me and the reason I came searching here. A second level account share with restrictions (i.e., can't pan/tilt a camera, can't delete recordings, etc.) would also be very useful.

Crazy that this still isn't possible, makes the automation useless if more than one adult present in a household. These are such good devices otherwise, it doesn't make any sense that they're still missing the ability to choose what functionality gets shared with others.

What a stupid and annoying system. Cant access a damn setting of anything when you share. Tapo dumbhome, not smarthome. I dont recomend it to households as the only one acsess to any settings is the host. And the host cant even choose what settings the one you are sharing it to should have accsess to. So dumb.

I am having the issue with this, please add them asap especially for the pan/tilt one. It gets annoying quickly if you look at a camera and it is suddenly pointed towards nowhere just because someone whom you shared the camera accidentally moved the camera
