Model: Tapo C225
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.17

Hi,

I have set up my Tapo C225 in my house to monitor my dog. It works fine with Tapo app android version 2.15.516.

I need to use it in another house/WiFi network during the weekends.

Is it possible to configure the app to use the same Tapo cam connected to two different networks?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
If you need to use the same Tapo C225 in a different house/Wi-Fi network, you can press the reset button to reset it, and then reconfigure it on the Tapo app to connect to a different Wi-Fi.

Thank you for your reply.

There is an alternative way to avoid the reset and reconfigure it every time?

Thanks again.

Hi,
The Tapo C225 does not have the feature to switch the Wi-Fi network only, however, you can set the Wi-Fi networks in different houses using the same Wi-Fi name, password, and security type, and then check if the camera will reconnect to the Wi-Fi network automatically.

Best Regards
