I had to replace my Android smartphone. 

I restored my apps from backup including TP-Link Tapo app. 

When I login to the Tapo app on the new phone the device (Tapo C110 camera) is gone. 
Is that information stored locally on the phone or is it stored in a TP-Link server database?

The problem is I am thousands of miles away from where the camea is installed now so reinstalling the camea is not an option.

Hi,
The Tapo camera will bind to a TP-Link ID after configuration, and if you log in to the Tether app with the specific TP-Link ID, you can manage the camera.
You can check if you are logging in to the Tapo app with the correct TP-Link ID that your Tapo C110 is bound to.
And please send me the MAC address of the Tapo C110 via private message if you still fail to see your camera on the new Tapo app.
