If your problem is that the Tapo C500 has enabled the Motion Tracking feature and will stop at the end of the motion, and doesn't return to the original position, please double-check Tapo C500's behavior. Generally, the camera will use the position when you enable the Motion Tracking feature as the original position. Once it tracks the motion and stopped when no motion is detected, it will return to the original position if no motion is detected within 30 seconds.
