Need to change Wifi SSID without resetting the Cameras
Everytime when i want to change the WiFi SSID, I need to reset the camera. This is both in TAPO and VIGI Wifi Camera. Can you update the App such way that we can change the SSID without reset the camera

@Solla-topee Is there an update for this issue? Is this issue on the backlog? When can we expect a solution?

It is quite frustrating that this is not an easier task on these devices. What is even more frustrating is that when I initially setup my cameras, I chose the option to "Remember Wifi" and so now that I have needed to change my Wifi connection, it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to setup the camera in the new network because it keeps reconnecting automatically to the old network. Even after factory rest, when I add the camera again, it never asks for me to pick the wireless connection, it just automatically reconnects to the old network.
The only workaround is to temporarily disable my old wifi network, affecting all the other devices connected to it.
There has to be a better way.

Hi,
Typically, pressing and holding the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset will remove all settings on it. After that, please also ensure the camera is removed from the Tapo app, then you can reconfigure the camera and connect it to the new Wi-Fi network.
Best Regards

Hold on, what sort of a response is this!? Do a factory-reset & delete the camera from the app & start from scratch, when all users want is to be able to change the WiFi!?!?
There are 29 pages & nearly 300 posts from users requesting this feature and so far TP-Link have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to resolve this!!!
I suspect you are ignoring this top-requested-feature, because there is some technical reason you are simply unable to implement it. In which case, I want my money back!
Issue a 'Product Recall' & either provide working replacement cameras, or a full refund!
