Is there a way to either move the date and time, or have them dispayed over the top of the Privacy Zone?

After you configured the privacy zone, please go to the Camera Settings page of the Tapo C420>Advanced Settings>On-screen Display Settings>Disable Display Time Stamp and then enable it again, and then on the camera's Live View page, you can see the date and time show up at the top left corner.
