Model: Tapo T310
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Hi, I purchased two T310 and installed them without any problem. Also Firmware was updated to 1.5.0.

Then I purchased two more T310 sensors from another dealer, both same HW version as the first ones. Both new ones now claim that can be controlled only locally, and suggest checking/adjusting router. This does not make any sense as all the Tapo devices, including plugs, do operate as expected as well as other devices in the network. Sure, I tried also DNS 8.8.8.8. All are in close vicinity of hub and router.

I have removed those new ones, resetted, re-installed with tablet (and phone), rebooted hub, router etc. FW remains 1.3.0 and does not give option to change. Also missing balanced mode setting as the first two ones.

Any help?

Today I studied more about this failure. It seem that after short power break we had recently all sensors stopped collecting data and also camera dropped offline, however it was online occasionally but not stable.

So I booted all (router, hub, devices) once more and now they are working. Only reason I can imagine is that the ISP backbone was also down and was not properly booted whilst my apparatus came online. I changed dns in router, but was not sure if it caused rebooting (Fritzbox needs it very rarely).

Also the newest sensors received firmware update which included balanced mode.

So, solved so far but have to follow if the power break causes all offline again and cannot recover by own.
