I cannot connect the Tapo C420 camera to the Tapo H200 hub.
I have a problem. I cannot connect the Tapo C420 camera to the Tapo H200 hub. My router is tp-link TL-MR6400. The router is not connected to the internet. I am trying to pair devices in a mobile app. All devices purchased in Ireland
The hub sees the camera, offers to connect it, but does not connect it.
I rebooted all devices many times. I reset it to factory settings many times but nothing helps.

Hi,
The Tapo C420 is unable to connect to the H200 when it's not connected to the internet. It's suggested to set up your router to work and then start to use the Tapo C420 and H200.

I also noticed that I cannot get any notifications from C420 if internet does not work. Is it really so that ALL works ONLY if internet is available? It would be dangerous if all can be silenced by cutting isp line first, also in-house alarms.

Hi,
The Tapo Cam and Tapo Hub are network devices and require internet access to work normally. If your router is offline and they are disconnected from the internet, some features will no longer work, such as the Notification and remote control, but the features that do not require the internet can still work, such as local control and recording video to the SD card.

2. Please confirm the LED status on the Tapo H200 and camera.
3. Is the hub Tapo H200 connected to your router via Wi-Fi or cable? Do you have internet when connecting to your router?
