Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.7

Firmware 1.3.7 destroyed the light sensitivity (in color mode) on all my C200 cameras.

I've been running one C200 for a couple of years. Running in color mode/daylight mode 24/7.

The very good light sensitivity of the cam, has made the streams nice and bright with coulor also at night. (with a minimum of lights nearby).

just bought 8 more tapos, 4 of them the C200.  And now the last FW update (1.3.7) made the cams very dark @ night. Meaning I can not use them in this mode any more, but have to use the auto option which gives the "ghost"- black and white image.

Worst case I will have to return the cameras i just bought.

Any solution to this matter?

  @Eyestone

Hi,

1. For the old Tapo C200, please tap it on the Tapo app and go to its Device Settings>Device Info page, what MAC address shows on this page? You can send me the MAC address via private message.
Can you send me a picture of this camera's Live View page when it works at night?

2. If you exchange the new Tapo C200 and the old C200's location, can the new Tapo C200 work the same as the old C200? Please send me the pictures of the new Tapo C200's Live View page when it works at night and when selecting the Day mode and Night mode in the new location for comparison.

Best Regards
