Before updating to the new version of the TAPO App I had a routine working that cancelled an alarm before it actually sounded, with the new app this does not appear to be working.

So, what I am trying to do is control the alarm when a contact sensor triggers.

When the sensor triggers I set an alarm to sound in three minutes. when the sensor closes I cancel the alarm if it is already sounding (easy) but I also want to cancel the alarm before it sounds if the sensor closes before the 3 minutes elapse.

I was disabling the automation that sounds the alarm which was working OK on the old app but with the new one, even if the automation is disabled the alarm still sounds.

Any ideas?
