Accessing C420 cameras only under VPN
I have my cameras connected to H200 smart hub to my router.
I want to access C420 cameras only locally or using a VPN to my router.
Is it feasible ?

@antarm Hi, I found a similar case report here, it seems if you block the internet for the camera&hub on the router, you can control the camera via the Tapo app when they are in the same network but can't control it when they are in different networks even if the VPN connection is good, and the case looks like still under analysis.
Any special reason that you want to use the camera in this scenario?

@Summer_S I'm a cyber paranoid. I don't wanna my cameras to be accessible from the Internet even if under HTTPS protection.

@antarm If you have bought the Tapo C420 & H200 and used them already, you can try to block the internet on your router for the H200 but allow local access, and check if the usage scenario can meet your requirement.

@Summer_S I'm able to access cameras when connected to Wi-Fi but it does not work from my phone under VPN.
I've tried to ping the H200 smart hub from my phone under VPN and it works fine.
Do you have any idea ?
