Tapo t100 sensor 2 piece for one stairs

Hi
can i buy two t100 sensors for stairs,one on downside and one on upside for trigger same light when go down or for go up?

If you want the sensor to detect going upstairs and downstairs, it's not supported. The motion sensor can only detect whether movement has occurred and cannot determine the direction of the motion.
If the paths for going upstairs and downstairs are different, it's recommended to install the sensor at the point where the paths start to diverge.

Of course, it's possible. You're able to control a tapo light with multiple sensors or control multiple devices with one sensor.
But I'm curious about the necessity of installing two sensors. Is your staircase exceptionally long? Having two sensors on the same staircase would likely result in detections regardless of going up or down, as a person cannot disappear midway.
