Under Consideration Manually deleting video from SD card

Just set up TC85 cameras and have them successfully recording events to the SD card. Is there a way to manually delete unwanted videos from the card using the App? Or does the until keep recording/storing files until full, then begins to overwrite the oldest one first without any way to do manual cleanup?
TIA
Phil

Hi All,
Thank you for your attention to our products and your valuable feedback. We have received your requests regarding the ability to delete video recordings from the microSD card in the Tapo app. We will continue to relay this feedback to the relevant departments for assessment and improve the user experience of our products.
Currently, the alternative methods are below:
1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recordings > Local Storage page and click on Format microSD Card to format the inserted SD card. This action will erase all video recordings stored on the SD card. We recommend that you back up any important video clips before formatting the card.
2. Connect the SD card to your computer using an SD card adapter, then manually delete the video recordings you no longer need on the computer.
Usually, hot topics with detailed background information (e.g., reasons for wanting the feature, usage scenarios, and so on) will be prioritized for evaluation. We sincerely appreciate your valuable feedback and encourage users to provide detailed background information when voting and writing comments for assessment.
Best Regards

Hi,
Currently, the Tapo camera does not have the feature to delete the video recordings from the SD card manually via the Tapo app, and if the Loop Recording feature on the microSD card page is turned on, the new recordings will overwrite the oldest one when storage is not enough. If you need to delete the video recordings before the SD card is full, you can remove the SD card from the camera, connect it to a PC via an SD card adapter, and then delete the video recordings on the PC.

Hi. I am also in favor of updating tapo and being able to delete selected recordings via the application. For a few days now I have had two Tapo C310 cameras, which are 800 km away from me, so such a function would be extremely useful for me. My English is not very good, so I use a translator. I hope everything translated well. Regards, SJPW
