Hello

I am new here so first of all I would like to wish everyone A Very Happy New Year for 2024.

 

My problem:

I purchased two TC70 indoor Camera to keep an eye on my 91 year old Mother.

At first I setup both Cameras on my own Wifi Network. I then took both Cameras to my Mothers house which is 3 Miles away thinking that when I got back to my house I could connect and see my Mother. But that does not work.

 

So if I connect the TC70 Cameras to my Mothers Wifi Internet, I can see the Cameras on line, but once I leave her House I loose the connection.

I have a iPhone 12 Max Pro.. How can I connect to keep a check on my Mother when we are away from her home.

Hi, 
Generally, if the TC70 is placed in your mother's home and connects to the home Wi-Fi and internet successfully, you can manage it remotely.

From your description, it seems the TC70 connects to the Wi-Fi network already but has no internet access so you can't manage it remotely. Please ensure your mother's home Wi-Fi has internet access, and you can try to reboot the camera or reset it and reconfigure it.

If the problem remains, send me the MAC address of the camera via a private message, and check if your mother's home Wi-Fi has special settings, such as MAC Filtering or a firewall that may block the camera from connecting to the internet.
