Phenomenon Description:

If you set up the Kasa devices on the Tapo app directly but are going to control them via the Kasa app remotely, there will be a pop-up message as below on the Kasa app and the Kasa devices mentioned in the message will disappear from the Kasa App. However, you can still find them on the Tapo app.

Workaround:

It's suggested to keep using the Tapo app to control the Kasa devices. However, if you prefer to use the Kasa app to control the Kasa devices, please remove the Kasa devices from the Tapo app to reset them and then reconfigure them on the Kasa app.
