Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Please correct/improve data export for P110:

Background:

The option "Export all data" on the P110 Energy Monitoring screen does not correctly export "All" data.

The email received after export includes the file Energy Usage.xls. This has 3 tabs - Day, Month, and Year.

The day tab includes Date and time (Hourly) for the last 7 days and Energy Usage(kWh). This is correct, but fails to display cost in place at the time for each row.

The Month tab includes Date for the last 3 months and Energy Usage(kWh) Daily. This is correct, but fails to display cost for each row. This would need to be calculated for each row as the cost could be changed at any point during the day.

The Year tab is incorrect as it only displays the current year to date and not the previous year (which now displays in the app). Again, cost should be calculated per row from the month tab.

This would be of great help when using the exported data, as well as being able to see and validate how "the cost is calculated", a question often asked in the forums.

Many thanks,,,

  @QuestionReality

Upon checking, the exported energy data reserves the information for the past twelve months. Please make sure your device always has the latest firmware and keep the App updated.

Are you saying the data shows zero? Or are there missing options for certain months?

  @Wayne-TP

Thank you for your reply.

This is a programming issue, not a data issue. The firmware and app are fully up to date.

The first problem is that the data export does not contain the 'cost' field at all in any of the 3 tabs Day, Month, and Year.

The second problem is that the Year tab is incorrect as it only displays the current year to date energy and not the previous year (which is now displayed in the app and hence stored). It wasn't originally displayed until a recent update, I suspect that this is why it is missing from the data export.

To clarify, the data requested is simply not included in the export. It is not a case of zero values.

Many thanks...
