Hello,
If the problem is that the camera doesn't record detection video clips and stores them on the cloud server when the camera detects events, please help confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. Do you have an internet connection when connecting your phone to the same Wi-Fi as the camera? What's the model number of your router?
Please ensure the camera connects to a Wi-Fi network with internet access.
2. How about the LED status on the camera? Does the camera show online status on the Tapo app when your phone connects to the same Wi-Fi as the camera and when your phone uses 4G mobile data?
If your home has an internet connection, please reboot the camera and check if it will work again.
3. If the camera shows online on the Tapo app, please go to the camera's Device Settings>Detection page and send me a picture of it. Then go to the Notification page and send me a picture of it.
When the camera detects events, do you receive notifications but no detection video clips are created?
