Router Model: Speedport Plus 2 provided by Greece ISP Cosmote

Phenomenon Description

Through initial analysis and investigation, we notice there is a compatibility issue between Tapo C225 2.0/Tapo C125 1.0 and the Speedport Plus 2 router provided by Greece ISP Cosmote. The camera is not able to receive an IP address from the router. When trying to set a static IP address for the camera to complete the configuration, there is a problem viewing camera as the IP will still change after some time.

• Tapo C225/C125 unable to connect router (WiFi), error message: "Pairing Failed".

• Camera live stream freezes quickly after some time and cannot be viewed consistently.

Workaround

We have placed the highest priority on this matter and our team is actively investigating this matter to identify and resolve the underlying cause as quickly as possible. This issue is expected to be fixed in the upcoming official release.
