Add Temperature as a starter for Google home routines
![](/avatar/avatar-8.png)
The T310 smart temperature and humidity monitor sensors can be used in Google home to trigger routines based on humidity, but not temperature. I would like to be able to use these devices to control fans to turn on and off automatically according to the temperature. There doesn't seem any good reason why they can't do this already.

I can't either. I have a T310 v1.0. When are you going to implement it? (I can't believe you forgot to include the temperature in Google Assistant routines. Or is it so we can use the TAP ones?)
I feel cheated, since it is assumed, when you buy the product, that a temperature sensor indicates "the temperature" in an automation.

Je viens de découvrir cela.
Je comptais utiliser cela pour démarrer la chaudière durant la nuit quand la chambre des enfants devient trop froide (j'ai un thermostat connecté dans le salon)
Vous savez si le Tapo T315 a le même souci?

@Freddo75 the Kasa smart radiator valves allow you to set routines based on temperature, but not the temp sensors.

@Johnpigg If you are using the cloud integration you can use the Google Home script editor to automate with the temperature, I wrote an example months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/googlehome/comments/17fjasr/fyi_tapo_t315_temperature_sensor_works_with/
I would recommend you to use the Matter integration instead, you can use temperature as starter right in the app and no need for the script editor. Also wrote about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/googlehome/comments/198pp37/tapo_h100_hub_and_sensors_now_work_with_google/

I have the same expectations and i also buy a h100 and 2 t310 to control heaters Mitsubishi.
I don't understand why these tools (which are sold as temperature sensors) can't be use as temperature starters on google home but only with humidity.
Tp link what can you propose to solve that? Are you planning to update it?
