Tapo camera alarm going off when we didn't enable it - scared baby
We've been using the tapo as a baby camera for months and last night the alarm went off out of nowhere, really upset the baby, we hadn't activated the alarm and were very confused. We've unplugged and re set up this morning and the same thing happened :( looking at previous forum posts this seems to be an issue many have experienced

Hi,
In general, the camera won't alarm when the Alarm feature is turned off. When the camera alarm, have you checked on the Tapo app>camera's Device Settings>Alarm feature page to see if this feature is disabled?
On the Tapo app>Cameras tab>Home/Away mode page, if your camera is included and turned on the Alarm feature, pressing the Home/Away Mode will enable the Alarm feature and the camera may alarm when detecting events.
Please check if you have pressed the Home/Away mode before the camera alarm.
If the camera alarm when the Alarm feature is disabled, can you provide me the specific time, date, and time zone when the camera alarm for further analysis?
If you could provide a video showing the problem, it would be highly appreciated!
