TP-Link P110M not able to pair?
If it won't pair, in wifi installation, have a look at what WPS is doing on your wifi router, probably has the same effect on all smart plug installations, good luck!

If the WPS function is on, it will affect the failure of P110M to connect to WiFi during configuration. It also did the same failure with another brand of smart plug. My Vodafone Router gives you 2 minutes to do the configuration before it turns on WPS again.
In both cases the configuration did exactly the same thing, and failed, if WPS is activated to pair, either through Vodafone app, or the router button, (which gives 2 mins to pair)
the configuration is immediate.
It was sticking, prior to my trying this out, I connected to Tapo App, the other brand to Smart Life

Thank you for sharing! Do you mean that if the WPS function on the router is turned on, it will affect the failure of P110M to connect to WiFi during configuration? Or it will cause it to get stuck at the step of finding the device (smart plug)?
Which Matter platform did you connect P110M to? Or did you connect it to Tapo App?

Are your other WiFi devices also unable to connect to the WiFi when the router's WPS is enabled?
For example, you can try turning off the WiFi on your phone first, then enable the WPS and try to connect to the WiFi (you can also try deleting the WiFi and reconnecting by re-entering the password).

Good question
However, I have had that vodafone router for 6 or 7 years, and have connected many devices to it and never had to use wps button
Probably why it took me so long to try it
The problem prompted me to update/replace the router, now have an LP-Link Archer AX55, considerably faster
But, to my surprise, when I was reconnecting the "smart bits", I also had to use the wps button on the AX55, because of failure.
I installed a bulb in my bedside light, a tp-Link tapo L630, needed the wps button to connect
I have worked on computers and networks since the early days, 1969 on, so I am a bit of a menace
I just ordered a Tapo T315 and a Tapo H100 so I am interested to see where I end up with them
I will be interested to see if "matter" matters!
