The KD110 package includes the KD110 doorbell camera as well as a Chime. After completing the configuration, the Chime can ring when someone presses the doorbell to notify that there is a visitor.

 

Here are the instructions to set up the KD110 and the Chime.

How to Setup the Kasa Smart KD110 Doorbell?
 

If your Kasa Chime fails to ring when you press the KD110 doorbell button, you can refer to the following steps to troubleshoot.


1.Check if you enabled the Do Not Disturb on the Kasa app>KD110’s Device Settings> Do Not Disturb page.

If so, please disable it.


2.Ensure the Chime’s LED is green and can ring normally when manually pressing the Music or Volume button on the body.


3.Ensure the KD110 can ring normally when pressing the doorbell button.


4.Unplug the Chime, rotate it 180°, and re-plug it back.


5.Move the Chime closer to the KD110.


6.Press the Sync button on the Chime for 3 seconds until the system LED blinks green to enter pairing mode. Then follow the instructions on the Kasa app> KD110’s Device Settings>Chime Pairing page to re-pair the Chime.
