Model: TC70
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.17

I recently updated my CCTV and noticed that when I change the resolution (to 720p) in the settings it does not apply to the recorded video. It is stuck on 1080p

Hi,
Thank you for the device information provided. The TC70 V5 is designed in this way. The resolution set in the camera's Video Quality is only effective on the live view page. The video will always be recorded at the highest resolution (1080P).
Best Regards

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.

1. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Device Info page on the Tapo app and send me the camera's hardware version info.

2. How do you record a video? How do you test if the recorded video has 1080P resolution?

Best Regards

Attached is the device info. When I download the video in the app itself and check its properties, it is still at 1080p resolution.
