H200 hub and KE100 TRV
Just purchased a couple of KE100 radiator valves but was shocked to see that they don't work with my H200 hub. How stupid is this ? I have all my other devices working happily with the H200 but now it looks like I have to either get another inferior hub or return the valves and think about switching totally to another branded setup. Madness.

Kasa and Tapo are two different product lines with their own separate apps for device management. The KE100 is primarily sold as a kit, KE100KIT, and the single KE100 as an add-on.
Tapo App or Tapo H200 does not support the Kasa KE100.

But the Tapo App does support the H100 hub and KE100 as it tells you to download the Tapo app on the product page ? I just don't understand why the H200 doesn't support this device. It doesn't make any sense,

H100 is a Tapo hub, it does not support KE100 either. I did not mention it because you were asking for the Tapo H200 specifically.
What Kasa KE100 need is a KH100 hub. A KE100 Kit includes one KE100 and one KH100.

So what's the difference between the KH100 hub and the H100 hub ? They look identical to me.
It's either madness or money making to need so many different hubs for products which are the same brand.

KH100 is a Kasa device while Tapo H100 is a Tapo device. As mentioned, Kasa and Tapo are two different smart home brands with their own separate apps for device management.
