Hi,

 

I’m trying to set up a smart strip to plug my router into.

The Wi-Fi connection dropped after I turn off the router. However, It won’t automatically reconnect when I turn it back on.

 

Do you know how often the Wi-Fi connection should try to reconnect? Is this a known issue?

What router do you use? How long has the router been turned off?

I think it doesn't matter what router I'm using? 


I plan to have

Modem turn off 5min or 1hour weekly

Wifi AP turn off 5min daily.

 

If you really need it:

  • Modem: HG8145X6
  • Wifi AP: Deco X68
