Tapo cameras via Tapo H200 Hub and Smart Add Automation
Tapo cameras via Tapo H200 Hub and Smart Add Automation

Can this be done please? I have a Tapo C720 camera and a Tapo H200 Hub and micro SD Card.
The camera is setup and working and the Tapo app on my mobile is working with the C720. The H200 Hub is connected to my modem via the Ethernet port and has been setup on my mobile via the Tapo app and is working. The H200 Hub has the micro SD Card installed.
I need to add a new Automation by Tapo App>>Smart>>Add Automation.

But instead of using it as a doorbell, I need to set it up as camera Motion Detection or Person Detection et cetera. All recordings from the camera go to the H200 Hub SD card.
Is this correct?

There's an issue with Hub storage of any camera (410, 425, 720): if you set the storage to a hub (h200 in my cases), the "Correct Event Type" menu option disappears, meaning you can't correct the detection mode, and worse, you can't tell it to ignore the detection. When you switch the storage back to Local (on camera) the "Correct Event Type" menu option re-appears.

Well, that's strange, this feature is actually available on my devices. What are the hardware and firmware versions of your cameras?
