Hello,

i would understand if this camera is able to register (motion movements on sd card) when there is not wifi connection (ex. blackout at home) ?

Tapo C425's motion detection and local recording can still function when the WiFi or internet is down. 

 

Note: If the C425 is set to connect with the H200 hub, using the SD card storage on the hub, then there won't have any recording when during the power outage.

Thanks for the info. I can choose, in case of h200 hub connected, if store the registration locally in the camera or remotely in the hub ?

The video can only be stored to one location, in C425's SD card or in H200 hub's SD card. The storage settings can be adjusted in the C425's device settings.  Connect Tapo C425 to H200 Hub: Video Storage & Network Backup Option
