Tapo c520ws firmware not updating.
I have 4 Tapo c520ws. The problem is that each one has a different firmware. They don't update at all. One has 1.2.10 the other has 1.2.9 and two have 1.2.8. all cameras are v1

Hi,
Please try to reboot the router, and ensure the camera has a stable internet connection, then check if it's possible to update the firmware successfully.
If the problem remains, you can factory reset the camera, enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, reconfigure the camera with another phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi to go to the internet and check if you can update the firmware successfully.

Hi,
Currently, there are different firmware versions are being released for Tapo C520WS, so the firmwares of your cameras are not the same.
The latest firmware version of the Tapo C520WS is 1.2.10, and your cameras will be upgraded to this firmware when it is released to your cameras. Please wait patiently.

Hi,
1. If the LED on the camera is still flashing green until now, please power it off, make sure the internet from the router is stable, move the camera closer to the router, power on the camera, wait for 10 minutes, and then check if the camera will have a solid green light and if the firmware is updated.

@Solla-topee
I’m experiencing the same issue with my C520WS. On the first attempt, when the Tapo app said an upgrade was available, it failed. I tried twice, and on the last attempt, it stayed stuck on "upgrading..." for over 15 minutes with no progress, while the camera’s green LED kept blinking.
I decided to power off the camera and turn it back on. After reopening the app, it again showed the update available from version 1.2.8 to 1.2.10. However, the same issue persists, and it still gets stuck on "upgrading...".
Could you let me know how large the update is in MBs so I can estimate the approximate download time and check if something went wrong again?
