Get an alarm notification on lock screen on iphone
Just got the tapo c500 and wonder if it possible to get a real alarm on the lock screen of you phone. Right now it just gives you the 1 beep Standard, but I have seen other apps that can make a real alarm sound on the lock screen. Or you won't wake when the alarm on a camera goes off in the middle of the night. Så need to change the sound on the lock screen sound just for the tapo app. How do I do that?

@Asgertylak I just found the solution to this, I also have an iPhone and encountered the same problem.
You need to install the IFTT app, then you will create a conditional automation linked with the camera app. So the trigger will be "motion detected" or whatever you want and the action will be receiving a call from "CallMeBot" on Telegram. You can find the CallMeBot on the search in the IFTT app. You can create up to 2 of this automations for free.
This way you will receive a call on telegram everytime motion is detected for exemple.

Hi,
Typically, the camera will alarm and your phone will receive a notification when the camera detects an event if the Alarm and Notification features are enabled on the Tapo app for your camera.
The 1 beep standard sound is the notification sound. If you have an Android phone, usually, you can go to your phone's Settings > Tapo app notification settings page to change the notification sound, and select a sound that may wake you up.

But that is not possible if you have an iphone. Would it not be a good option to be able to choice standard notification in the app or a more alarm like sound ?
