Hello,

I am using the TP Link Tapo P115 smart plug. I noticed that there is electricity in the plug even when it is turned off. When I switch the plug to the off position via the app and measure the energy, I see 12 V of electricity, while it measures 223 V when the plug is on. Is it normal for the plug to have a small amount of electricity when it is off? It doesn't seem normal to me, as I believe the relay inside should completely cut off the electricity.

The screenshot of the measurement I took while the plug was off:

Is the power outlet that P115 connected grounded?

@Wayne-TP Yes, the device is connected to a grounded outlet. I contacted the call center, and they indicated that the device might be faulty. I returned it and purchased a new one. Unfortunately, I tested the new device as well, and it has the same issue.
