TAPO c200 - Automatically delete old videos

I have a number of C200 Tapo cameras with SD cards and it only loops and starts to overwrite its recordings once the SD card is full.
The problem is that my SD cards are very large, so it ends up storing a lot of old footage which i dont want.
I mainly want to limit the storage of old videos for privacy reasons and because these cameras are in my house they end up capturing data which is sensitive (nobody wants to see my hairy self walking across the living room!! )
I would like to have a configuration option to automatically delete old recordings. eg. Configure it to delete any videos older than 1 hour, 24 hours, 30 days etc.

This is also extremely needed in terms of law. In Switzerland we have to delete videos after 2 weeks or less, except it might contain hints for further inspection etc. Right now I have to either delete all videos or delete every single day for several weeks of all my 5 cameras. A hub and / or camera record management tool word be awesome.
And by the way: this missing feature is the only reason why several of my neighbours didn't want to buy tapo. They wanted to make sure they are able to comply with this requirement of media storage and privacy regulations. Except for this they were very excited about my tapo system

@Bollinez same in Portugal. You have to delete all footage older than 30 days in commercial spaces. This is very frustrating that such a simple feature is not available in the app.
The EU enforces strict privacy laws on footage captured in both commercial and residential spaces in regards to the amount of days you can store (cloud or local), among other things, crazy how many clients you would get with this simple feature.
Btw, an initial step could be allow to select and delete whole days (in the calendar view), rather than having to go video by video.

@calmac
This is a essential feature that we would like as well, and as others have mentioned in regards to GDPR and data protection laws it is needed. We are using several Tapo's in a small office for security evidence out of office hours.
Being able to specify a retention period of hour, days of 30, 60, 90 or custom etc to keep recordings for.
We have enabled continuous recording out of office hours and we are hoping that it fills up before 30 days.
Hopefully this feature can be implement in the near future because otherwise the hardware and software are really good.

Hi,
On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Local Storage page, please check if the Loop Recording feature is enabled.
If this feature is enabled but the camera won't store new video recordings after the microSD card is full, it's recommended to start a new thread here for further assistance with the following information.
1. The camera's model number, hardware, and firmware versions.
2. The microSD card's model number and capacity.
3. Your problem description.
Best Regards
