Questions about humidity and temperature levels with the KE100
Hi. I'm considering purchasing the Kasa KE100 TRV for my utility room. The room is either quite cold or quite hot if heat is introduced. Therefore, I want to control the radiator remotely - the TRV which is currently on the radiator isn't very easy to reach so I thought the Kasa TRV would help with this.
I have looked at the instructions and I note it says...
- Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity or hot environments.
- Do not leave a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas. Do not leave a battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result.
- My question is how much humidity and how high a temperature will be a problem? With the tumble dryer on, the humidity can reach 76% and temperature can get up to 35 degrees in the summer. We are looking into buying an extractor fan to try to rectify these issues but I don't know if it will do the job well enough just yet.
- Also, the current valve is a Danfoss RAS-C². I don't see this on the Valve Compatibility Guide so can anyone advise if any of the adapters will work with the KE100?
- Finally, I have the Tapo H100 hub with a number of humidity sensors. Would I still need the Kasa hub or will the Tapo hub work?
Many thanks.
