I'm looking for a TP-Link device or configuration that can help me detect when power fails in a specific socket or in my home. The goal is to receive an alert if there's a power outage, for example, to prevent issues like a refrigerator defrosting due to power loss.

Does TP-Link offer any smart plugs, sensors, or router configurations that can notify me when power is lost? Any recommendations or alternative solutions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

This is not supported on the Tapo plug.

Typically, the delivery of notifications goes through the cloud server, requiring a stable internet connection. However, in the event of a power outage at the home, the network would be interrupted.

My router is on a UPS. It will continue to function for about 4 hours after a power failure.
