I recently got a Tapo camera and was wondering if there any chance it could be accessed by other users without my knowledge. How does Tapo ensure security, and what can I do to prevent unauthorized access?

Hi,
Typically, only the person who has your TP-Link account can access your camera after logging in to the Tapo app with your account. It's important to protect your account, and below are some tips.
  1) Use complex passwords (a mixture of upper and lower letters, numbers, and symbols) when signing up.
  2) Use a unique password different from other website accounts to avoid being involved in their accidental data breaches.
  3) Change your passwords regularly.
  4) Use 2 Factor Authentication (2FA): Making Your Account More Secure: Introducing Two-Step Verification (2FA) for the Tapo App
