Camera not recoding whole day clip.Only recording motion movement with free subscription.
I have bought an Tapo camera and using the Tapo free subscription plan provided for a month. But this free subscription plan is storing only bits and pieces of the recording only when camera detect some movement or motion. What to do if I want whole day complete recording . Is whole day complete recording is not available for free subscription.

1. If you have subscribed to the Tapo Care service or enjoy the Tapo Care Trial service, the camera will store detection video clips to our cloud server only when it detects events.
2. If you want to record continuous video recordings, a microSD card is required to be inserted into the camera.

My Tapo Camera is currently on the free trial but is only storing 2 or 3 clips a day and then not keeping any past history.
Have had it now for about two weeks and only have todays clips even though there has been lots of activity.

1. On the camera's Live View > Playback & Download > Playback > Cloud icon page, you can see the detection video clips stored on our cloud server. If you want to watch the previous days' video clips, please pay attention to select the specific date first. Below are the instructions to find the detection video clips in the Tapo app.
Where can I find detection recordings of Tapo & Kasa cameras on the Tapo app?
2. If there are activities in front of the camera but no video clips stored on our cloud server, it's suggested to confirm whether the detection feature is working first.
For example, you can enable the Alarm and Notification feature on the camera, then test if the camera will alarm and you will receive a notification when the camera detects an event. If so, check if the corresponding video clip is created and stored on our cloud server.
