Model: Tapo C510W   Tapo C520WS  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1.2.11

My Router, Extender A, Extender B, Extender pod C has same SSID, it seems my cameras doesn't pick up the strongest signal and hence went offline.

 

Does tapo do wifi autoroaming to pick best signal based on same SSID?

And i know it is impossible to reset and reconfigure without physically resetting on the camera itself, right?

Hi,
The Tapo camera currently does not support the auto-roaming feature to pick up the best signal based on the same SSID. If the camera is near the router or an extender, please try to turn off the camera, turn it back on, and then check if it will connect to the Wi-Fi with the best signal strength.

 

If you want the camera to connect to a Wi-Fi with a different Wi-Fi name or password, it's required to reset and reconfigure the camera.
