My Tapo keeps missing movement, be fine for couple of hours, but then misses something for 15 minutes. Really frustrated and fed up with it, it should of caught video of dog biting a person, but it missed that video and bought for safety. Doesn't even get video of dangerous situation.

Hi,
The problem may be related to the detailed configurations on the Tapo camera. Please confirm the following information for further analysis.
  1. What's the model number of your Tapo camera? You can send me(@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.

  2. Please go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send me a picture of this page, and help check the sensitivity of the enabled detection types.


  3. Have you inserted an SD card into the camera to store video recordings? If so, send me a picture of the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording > Recording Schedule page.


  4. Have you subscribed to the Tapo Care plan for the camera?


  5. When there is a motion but no video is recorded, have you received the corresponding notification(such as a motion-detected notification)?
