Downgrade firmware for P110, new version buggy

A new firmware has upgraded some of my Tapo P110 plugs (1.3.4 Build 250403 Rel. 150504). The previous version was 1.3.1 Build 240621 Rel. 162048.
This version causes some problems in a specific case:
I have an automation process which detect a movement from a T100 captor and switch on for 5 minutes a solenoid valve. After this 5 minutes the valve is switched off.
Everything is ok with old firmware but, with the new one, the automation is executed, and few seconds later the T110 plug is reset and need to be reconfigured for the same result at the next execution. Hopefully I've found a plug with the old firmware without this bug. I disabled auto updates for all my Tapo modules.
I think you didn't test every cases. Why don't you begin by a beta test phase before crash our system by these bad upgrade.
Thanks for an urgent fix or a method to rollback my installation.

For the issue reported in this thread, the relevant optimizations are planned in the next official firmware.

Today, another upgraded P110 plug has reset by itself and I've lost all the history datas for this plug.
TP-Link, do you read what we are writing here ? You made an implementation of a big bug generating a reset of plugs. Reset is repeating after each power off of these plugs. And it's necessary to reprogram everything.
An answer is necessary.

How many P110 1.3.4 are having problems? Do the issues observed in other devices same as the two cases you mentioned?
For the automation issue, is it the automation action gets reset? Or the smart plug itself? In other words, do you need to reconfigure the automation, or reconfigure the smart plug-- then create a new automation?
For the missing energy data case, what's the LED status on this plug? Can you see the history data when your phone connects to the local WiFi network?
To assist with this case, a specialist will help to follow it up through email. Please check your inbox later to confirm. If the email you used to register for the TP-Link community is not your contact email or you cannot access it, please send me your contact email through private message.

For now I have at least 3 plugs with the problem. History data is lost because the plug is reset not just the automation, so the led is blinking orange/green. The situation is as it is for a new plug.
I need a fix to erase this update for all my plugs. I think they will reset each after other. AT least one per day....
You didn't test this update, it's not serious at all. I've lost important datas, but not vital of course...
I will reply to the mail for the MAC Adress.

Unfortunately, I have exactly the same problem with three plugs. The issue started with the new update. What a bummer. Can you help me?

@Nubivec bad news but your case will perhaps convince tp-link to stop this faulty and non tested broadcast and replace all the faulty plugs. 10 for my part.
Please open a ticket to the support
Thanks.

@Nubivec TP-Link isn't serious on these case. They prefer saying I made mistakes like unplug smart plugs during updates
Please, all users with the bug, open support ticket.
If nothing is done by TP-Link, I will write on all specialist forums this case, will do negative feedback everywhere with screen captures of TP-Link answer.
I have now regrets to have chosen tapo as my domotic system. I thought TP-Link was a serious manufacturer........

I'll add myself as a "me too" with this latest firmware.
Of my 8 P110 plugs, I updated 7 (as 1 is presently not being used and boxed away somewhere).
All the P110s that stay on all the time seem okay for now. At least I have not had a problem, but now I am thinking I will never turn these off because they'll likely develop the same fault.
Any that I turn off, either manually myself or via a timer/schedule defined in the App, have a seemingly random chance of failing on the next power-on.
As others have observed, they are reset and just flash green/orange and need to be set up as a new device in the App, with the loss of all associated data they'd collected (not ideal, but not the end of the world).
Clearly, this new firmware was not well tested before release.
TP-Link needs to release a firmware downgrade to pull this update and revert to the previous code, then work to identify, fix, and thoroughly test whatever the new firmware was released to accomplish in the first place.
This has left a sour taste, and if I can get these back to a working state, then I'm confident I'll never again do a firmware upgrade until I see no material issues logged by other customers.
Edit: To add, I have the v1.0 hardware version of the P110. The previous working firmware was (I believe) Tapo P110(UK)_V1_1.3.1 Build 240621 Rel.162048, and the new faulty firmware is Tapo P110(UK)_V1_1.3.4 Build 250403 Rel.150504

Hi,
Do you have at least one plug "killed" by the upgrade ? I could be cool to contact Tp-Link support with the Plug Mac adress.
I'm in touch with the support and finally I succeeded to reproduce the bug. So the firmware is buggy, clearly.
I have 3 plugs with the problem, I don't dare switching everything off, I've already lost enough datas. I did a rollback for the moment for one plug, and keep the 2 others like they are if support need other tests.
Thanks for your help.

After a frankly pointless web chat with support, where the entire activity seemed concentrated around network, wi-fi, DNS, or internet, none of which are relevant nor have they changed for more than a year, I've been asked to supply additional information via email to support their continued triage of the problem.
I hope there is an easy way to downgrade to the previous firmware, which worked fine. Indeed, I want that and will apply it because I can't deal with the level of interruption this is causing. If not, I'll have to rip out the Tapo P110 units as they need to be stable, otherwise, they're just creating problems.

What I don't understand is why they don't stop to broadcast this firmware. Perhaps they think I'm the only one with problems. They don't take in account the number of persons they will never contact them, because they don't use forums or support services.
There's no way to rollback to previous version. Tp-link just has created a version identical to the 1.3.1 but named 1.3.4 and only available for my 3 defectives plugs. It's for my part, I don't know how how is the disaster for other persons...
To be continued....
