Local Smart Actions

Hi,
I recently bought the H100 and a bunch of smart plugs ...both P100s and P110s. I also got two Tapo Temperature Sensors (T310s). All of my automations have actions that are supported by Local Smart Actions but my Hub NEVER makes them Local Smart Actions. Is the H100 V1 compatible with Local Smart Actions? I have looked everywhere and cannot find any information.
Kind Regards,
Thage

There is a low chance of experiencing a failure when creating local smart rules if your hub is a Tapo H100.
We have a beta firmware available to address this issue. If you're interested in trying it, contact @Wayne-TP through a private message with the Mac address of your Tapo H100.
Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

Tapo H100 V1.0 or V1.20 both support local smart. For this issue, please make sure the smart device's firmware and the Tapo app are all updated.
What automation did you create? Please share your setup here.

@Wayne-TP Thanks so much for responding Wayne!

I am running a Grow Tent using a Tapo network of devices. The devices control the lighting, air extraction, heat and humidity. In total I have 8 smart plugs (P100s and P110s), two temperature sensors (T310s) and an H100 hub for the sensors.
All are on the same 2.4Ghz 2G network. In order to ensure the signal in the grow tent, I have a TP-Link RE190 wifi extender inside the tent - it provides the 2G connection for all 11 devices. The signal is very good on all devices. Speaking of the RE190, its primary network is the 5G network but it only broadcasts the 2G network. I did not want potential interference from 5G clients. All the firmware on the plugs, sensors, hub and extender is up to date and set to update Automatically.
It might be worth mentioning that all devices, including the H100 hub and RE190 are inside the grow tent with the smart accessories.
Details:
Tapo App Version: 3.10.513
H100 Firmware Update: 1.5.23 Build 241106 Rel.093525
Kind Regards,
Keith

@Wayne-TP Hi,
I see it has now created a local smart action for one automation out of many. I cannot understand the difference between the one that works and the ones that do not. Both use the same temperature sensor and both use delay actions. They also turn plugs on and off. The only difference is that one is initiated with the Time trigger and the other is initiated by the temperature sensor. But local smart actions support the temperature trigger I use (Temperature Above). What could the difference be?? I created both smart actions this morning ...

Can you send the Mac address of your Tapo H100 to me through a private message? We can help to check it.

@Wayne-TP Thanks Wayne. About two weeks ago a firmware update became available for me ...soon after I DM'd you my MAC address. I am not sure if its the Beta Firmware that was installed but either way, my H100 no longer has any issues. Its now able to create and run Local Smart Actions. My entire system is running very smoothly and reliably now ...to such an extent that I am getting another grow tent with another H100.
Thanks for your assistance!
