TP-Link HUB 200 Failed to Connect to Prepaid WiFi

Issue: H200 shows solid amber and fails to connect to TAPO app when linked to a prepaid WiFi router.
Steps Tried:
Case 1:

Reset H200
-
Connected H200 to prepaid WiFi router via LAN
-
H200 shows solid amber
-
TAPO app can't detect H200
-
Confirmed H200 and phone are on the same subnet
Case 2:
-
Connected prepaid router to PC via LAN – internet works
-
Reconnected router to H200 – still solid amber
-
Tried TAPO app again – still fails to connect

If you use an iPhone, make sure the Local Network permission is enabled for the Tapo app. You may try to perform the setup with another phone or tablet.
