Model: Tapo C500
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi, I have set up some outdoor cameras (C500) and selected infra red for night mode. However, I just noticed that the saved content shows that the lights are coming on when something is detected. I am viewing this from other cameras in the property. Can I opt for no lights at any time?
Would really appreciate help with this as a couple of the cameras are for wildlife recording - thanks for any advice

  @Chickenpie

This is the lighting of detection alarm. To change camera alarm types, go to camera Device Settings page in the Tapo app, click Alarm, then choose Alarm Type.

If you don't need either sound or light alarms, then disable the alarm feature.
